The new update includes what they refer to as major enhancements. These include:
- Added abbreviations
- Added special emphasis area of icing hazards
- Changed Aeronautical Decision Making and Risk Management to a new Single-Pilot Resource Management
- Updated area of operation I to include Pilot Qualifications
- Modified task items to standardize phraseology as contained in the AIM
- Added a Judgment Assessment Matrix to the Appendix
